That’s another bad thing about this package. They might crawl down the straights but they carry a TON of speed in the corners.

Bigger problem is that they have multiple tyre failures every single race and no one seems to give a fuck.

Amusing how only one tyre company can build one that works around here and all of the rest shit the bed.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Goodyear has no excuses, they've raced here how long now?

Simple, they just blame the teams and keep making the same tyres.

This isn't entirely Goodyear's fault.

This rules package enables drivers to be on the throttle constantly, which means more load on the tires, meaning higher likelihood of tire failures.

You're asking a 3500lb stock car making constant left turns with a straightaway to ease up the monotonous task 4 times around 9 degrees worth of banking going...oh, 160-180mph constantly. All while having all the downforce in the world to keep the cars pinned down making such turns.

What do you think's gonna happen?

Yeah, I'm not one to carry water for Goodyear but I pretty much agree. This weird-ass package is asking way too much of the tires.

Can't blame Goodyear on this one honestly, I'm sure a few teams were going WAY too hard with the cambers too.

I know many dislike Tony George for running American Open Wheel racing into whole into the ground back 25 years ago w/ the split, but it has to be said again - 10/10 for his efforts in jump-starting SAFER Barrier development while at the helm of IMS with the folks up in Nebraska

Good grief. The broadcast just said this is the 5th straight Cup race that has had a weather delay...

Second week in a row I fell asleep during a caution. This time after the Erik Jones crash

Yeah, these weather delays are bad for my fan experience too :p
