Hopefully the hood ducts are to make the cars look more sporty and awesome. :D

The scale of the people and semi trucks in that render just feels off. Not to mention the grandstand. It'd be great to see Nashville back on a NASCAR schedule though.

That render looks like something I would have made in GeneRally back in the day.

Hell has frozen over.

Martinsville has listened & the groundpounders finally have their big one back.

K&N East race at Thompson canceled

Shame, guessing it was due to super low car counts. This was a stable of the series before NASCAR moved it down south to cater to the development teams

Never should have destroyed the Busch North Series. Would camp at Lime Rock every year for that race.

I fear they will do the same with ARCA

NASCAR already used their influence with the Ilmor & the spec bodies - which ended up costing teams more & a smaller car count

Unlike the BGNN series, ARCA Kinda needs to hit the restart button. Most of ARCA's issues started well before the Spec Bodies and Engines. If anything killed ARCA its that the payouts are total garbage. Granted I don't think NASCAR will be changing that much either. ;_;

A reset in terms of raising purses & more promotion + lowering costs but without the usual 'spec = cost cutting (but has markup so it doesn't save teams all that much & make old parts illegal)' excuse? Yes, most certainly it's the thing thats needed.

Just moving more of the series away from it's core fanbase in the midwest & having more superspeedway races? Doesn't help at all

Purse issue isn't going to change or get better without a culture change I think - not just in stock car racing either but racing as a whole across asphalt oval & road racing.

90% of NASCAR's regional tours races pay peanut shells compared to how expensive the cars cost. I mean some of the bigger races has been rumored to pay $5k to win - hell the biggest Mod race payout ($25k at Loudon 250) is still only half of most dirt mod big show payouts in the same region

Sauter suspended from this weekend at Gateway

doesn't appear to be any other penalties

(IMO: just a 1 race park isn't harsh enough for using your vehicle as a weapon under yellow or in pits)

Especially when they've already granted him an exemption from the start all races requirement of the playoffs.

Given the year Sauter's had, I would find it endlessly satisfying if Snider leads every lap of this one.

iRacing Curse strikes again!

(tho, this one needed to happen...the now-previous iteration of the chicane was godawful)
