It's either that or we have a development race which blows costs out and eventually kills off the current set of regulations |

Juihi wrote: It's either that or we have a development race which blows costs out and eventually kills off the current set of regulations That's how sportscar racing generally goes. We'll get 2-3 years of awesome, then a decade of waste until regs come around again to where the manufacturers jump in. 97-99 with the LMP vs GT1/LMGT 2007-2010 with Audi vs Peugeot (and others) 2014-2017 with Audi vs Porsche vs Toyota. So, it's not exactly a 10 year cycle, but we'll get roughly 3-4 years of this new formula. 2023-2027 LMH vs LMDh. Enjoy it while we can. |

Not to mention I'll be very surprised if ACO BoP isn't skewed towards LMH and IMSA towards LMDh Likely at least initially (altough looks like IMSA won't have this problem for now, as there are no known LMH entries). More politicking and sandbagging incoming. |

Juihi wrote: It's either that or we have a development race which blows costs out and eventually kills off the current set of regulations I'm just disappointed that even after all the simplification and cost cutting manufacturers were still so scared of genuine competition that half of the rules are now BoP parameters (exaggeration, but BoP has been extended to cover more areas). |

It looks like every sportscar in history, so nothing spectacular Nice curved front splitter though, expecting many Le Mans 99 style blowovers with all the air that gets under there |

Caddy sounds nasty on the downshifts. You can see the headlight cut out mark on the Caddy. Very similar to the pre-production version. I like where this is going. |

The official site was live for a few moments, however it redirects to a picture of the Chicagoland Speedway logo presently. |

IMSA teams playing "cat and mouse game" in combined LMDh tests Quote: Cadillac driver Sebastien Bourdais feels LMDh manufacturers are playing a “cat and mouse game” in testing for the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season as they try to understand where they stand relative to competition.
