so why isn't Eurosport showing this live?

I have like 100 television stations, but non of them is showing this live, except for La 2 who did the first 45 min.

Looks like it's on the pay eurosport stream only.

The WEC app is worth it IMO. 35 euro for the season

With F1 going away from Free to Air, WEC has a great chance to find it's audience. But nobody can watch something for more than 2 hours, so will never be mainstream unfortunately.

I'd hate it if WEC went with much shorter races just to chase casuals.
