GTR GTE would not disappoint me.

I'd much prefer that to an LMP1. If GTE is sticking around now then we need more variation.

Given theyre entering Hoy in 2016, you can bet there will be a GTR GTE Program as well.

When they covered the original DeltaWing (the Indycar) with a blanket the day before the release, they put fake wheels and wings under it, so it looked like a real car. So don't be surprised if that's just random boxes and what not.

I don't like the tone of that announcement given their recent disgraceful past with all the false propaganda of DW

That "Porsche, Audi and Toyota all are about the same and we will be different" kind of statement makes me wonder whether they are, indeed, lobbying for some special rules.

But if they really take on the other 3 in a fair fight, then they are more than welcomed.

If they're done some lobbying, it's already been done. But the way the press release reads, it doesn't sound like it, surprisingly. For example, "the new rules package" is mentioned many times but it in a way where it is clearly referring to the new-for-2014 rules as whole. At worst I hope for some interpretation thing.

Mock up most likely, but for sure they have to have some kind of a real design too if it's going to be testing in October.

A GTR GTE would be much much more appealing than an LMP1. Nissan can't make an competitive LMP1, they can make a competitive GTR GTE.

They still need to be working on a new Silvia, though.
