That's one of the most moronic things I've ever seen in motorsport. No point even banning the Farrari twat either as this was a one off event for them. So sad for TRG.

It may be that your bandwidth is not enough to handle the stream. Sometimes it's just VLC that's playing up. I use MPC-HC here with no issues.

No, it's a server bandwidth issue basically and when that happens the external media players do not how to handle that situation (if it was played in the embedded flash player, it would automagically drop quality or start buffering). As a result VLC starts to loop the same segment over and over again, MPC stops playing altogether (which is a bit better, at least you notice it immediately). Very common with HLS/m3u8 streams.
