Haha. I'm on the bus from Scotland to Manchester, where I get picked up. Off to Stoke where I'll stay the night (and watch the Canadian GP). Then we set off tomorrow morning for Portsmouth. Having food and apparently watching the England game in a pub (I fear for my life). We get the overnight ferry to Le Havre (fuck the Dover ferries) then arrive noon/afternoon in Le Mans. Aiming to be setup in the warmest point of the day since its meant to be raining. Similar story on the way back, I'm a day late in arriving home compared to everyone else.

Nah.. He's walking the whole way.. Braveheart style!

I bet Brendan's journey is shorter and less stressful !

And while you're at it, why not take in your haggis, Irn-bru and start yelling 'OCH AYE THA NOO', just to make doubly sure I see you on the local news tomorrow night

It should be fine, although it depends where in Portsmouth you'll be. I don't know it *that well* but there's nicer areas than others, as there always are in big cities. Southampton is better though

Problem with Portsmouth is that the shit areas vastly outnumber the nice areas.

Fans will be able to follow the progress of car #22 live throughout the 24 hours of racing from a camera mounted on the front of the team’s Honda HPD-ARX-03a.

Interspersing the coverage will be live interviews from the pit lane with World Series by Renault pit lane reporter, Gemma Scott, to give a complete insight of JRM’s debut Le Mans 24 Hours race progress. Gemma will be catching up with the drivers after each stint, mechanics as they follow the race in the garage, plus following any news stories live from the pit wall with insights from chief engineer, Nigel Stepney, and team owner, James Rumsey.

Coverage will start immediately before the start of the race at 15:00hrs CET on Saturday 16 June and finish just after the conclusion of the race at 15:00hrs CET Sunday 17 June.

The stream will also be shown on http://www.crash.net and http://www.speedhunters.com

Also, AUTOSPORT have put up their 50 favourite cars

If you don't have PLUS, I could list them, so that we can bitch about the list.

From here I could get to Le Mans in the same day Say hi as you come past, you'll be quite close to me tomorrow Portsmouth should be fine, just go to a good pub. Oh yeah, getting to central France is far easier doing Portsmouth-Caen (or Le Harve!)

Portsmouth the city doesn't doesn't bother me, but being a Scotsman in a pub full of English fans watching England v France? That's going to be a bit uncomfortable. I've got two Saltires packed, I should totally take them into the pub.

Driving from Allentown, PA over to Newark, NJ where I'm leaving my car and selling my soul to the parking gods for $18 a day or something absurd. Then flying Newark to Montreal (on F1 race day, I think I've slightly misjudged that ). Montreal to Paris puts me in CDG around 8:30 Monday morning. I sit and wait for an hour and a half to meet a fellow marshal with whom I'm splitting a rental car and then we head to Le Mans, should be there around 14:00 Monday!

My bus had a blow out at 50mph. Bit scary. Sat in the rain for 90 minutes, made a new friend lol. Replacement bus arrived, it's a tour bus! Morrisons phoned me and asked me to work too. Not a chance.

I know Southsea, Gunwharf Quays and where the ferries sail from. Southampton > Portsmouth. Not biased

I agree with Autosport's number 1, but seriously, every one of those could be on every other position. Just great to see all of them in one compilation "The Lancia LC2 doesn't figure so high on this list for its results at Le Mans or anywhere else. Guys, need your advice. My exam on Saturday starts at 2PM, so 1 hour before the start. We have 3 hours to finish, so the latest possible time I will have finished is 5PM which would mean I am home at +- 5.30PM. Now: should I ignore all internet and watch the start + first hour, or just turn on the TV and watch live immediately. Don't know what to do Blergh, sucks so hard to have an exam on Monday as well.
