Well, that's a bigass "Mattzel 89" credit right there, lmao.

I hope they didn't use that thinking it was the TV source

The http://www.lemans-tv.com is also funny as it is basically a list of Youtube channels, including some team's official channels but also Mattzel and other random picks. I guess the race or whole sport it's just at the level now where it's better not to care about copyrights (demand) :D

Well I did manage to Lig my way into both Aston hospitality areas.. Helped largely by the pass supplied by a fried who was working there for them.. It also gave me access to a clean(ish) toilet... Something thats at a premium after a couple of days there!

Didn't do any scrounging though.. Just a bit of food..

Currently on the M40.. About 2 hours from home ..

Been escorted out of the Audi after party before I got in the door lol. Don't think it's the team though, just random Audi execs.

So went wandering out the paddock and got caught, got booted out and heard him giving our descriptions on the radio. Given up and gone back to the camp.

Your forum team everyone, representing the forum in the best possible way!

And STILL no report, footage or ANYTHING from the Aston Martin race.... :o

Whilst we were chatting to Allan and Howden Hayes from Audi someone else showed up and started taking photos with everyone. This was actually his idea and we had to pose with arms folded before he was satisfied.

You were on Grandstand T22? Used to be my spot in 2008 and 2010. Right in front of it was the finish and podium.

On a side note, the fastest car of the weekend in a straight line? Toyota? Audi?

Try Sauber, C9 = 340.4 km/h.

Guess what Mattzel? Your video is featured in Autosport Magazine; not the Davidson crash but a link to the Group C race :p

This topic will be renamed in "Mattzel become a Hollywood Star" or "When Davidson making Mattzel a Superstar of Youtube".

Speaking of Mattzel being used by those in motorsports, Richie Stanaway just posted Matt's cap of his Spa wreck a few weeks ago on Facebook.

It's about time they said to hell with copyright and stuff and just employed him to be the official FIA video capturer...

I bet even the safety teams use his videos to analyse crashes and help make the sport safer!

Given that F1 is looking for ways to exploit new media (about time!), Mattzel could be very handy to them.
