Well, he's got pictures of a wide-open throttle right in that gallery...

Add to the fact you can clearly hear in the video the car is still at WOT.

Mostly my question was based on the point made above that he just lost brakes.

It aint difficult, just needed basically new body panels. They're tube frame cars.
