I'm thrilled that the V12 is back, but only if it doesn't come at the cost of Highcroft or an OAK car. Jacques Nicolet deserves it after what he's done for the sport, and Highcroft is probably the best competitor to the diesels.

Highcroft said on their FB that they won't be at Le Mans this year. :(

They've ended their partnership with HPD/Acura/Wirth as well. Shame, as that is a damn good car and it'll only have 1 result to its name.

It's just fucked up that the 3rd fastest car is going into the museum.

That car was something special... Obviously the base chassis itself was impressive, but the ARX-01e in particular had the potential to be a giant killer - and it nearly was at Sebring.

They say they're not done with sportscars, but they pretty obviously look headed to Indycar to me... And if they can't get sponsors for a sportscar team now, I think they'll have serious issues finding the funding to run both in the near future... Bummer.

I understand Honda might be in financial difficulties, but that's a damn shame for racing fans.

That car had a huge potential, with a podium in its maiden race with basically no testing whatsoever and that race being the Sebring 12H, not exactly your joyride on a seaside freeway.

This is what pisses me off the most as a racing fan. Watching great talent in engineering, driving and team managing getting its plug pulled because of corporate decisions.

Don't forget it might be the second fail decision from Honda in 3 years. Remember Honda and Brawn? :p

Hope Racing's Oreca Hybrid has been homologated and approved for Le Mans, meaning there's pretty much no chance of the Robertson GT getting in the field.

Mazda has restored one 787B... just parade laps. (Legends race is for 1949-1965 cars anyway)

2011 so far:

Biggest upset in the Daytona 500 ever.
One of the closest fought Monaco Grand Prix' ever.
Craziest finish in the Indianapolis 500 ever
Will Le Mans finally emulate the 1969 race? :flag:
