The Rick Ware Porsche GT still needs to be added to the official list..Aswell as the 2 Lambos that were announced a couple months to be running the full season.

Derp, Lambos are running ALMS, not Grand Am.

On the DP side we should be able to expect at least three additional entries from:
#8 Starworks
#16 Dyson
#61 AIM Autosport

An 18 car field would be awesome.

Small update on the entry list, it is now at 47 cars, two more than last year!

While we have the same exact number of GT entries as last year at 30, there are 17 DP's with the lastest addition of two Starworks Ford Rileys.

I still expect possible entries from Dyson and AIM Autosport for DP, but time is running out as testing takes place this weekend.

AIM Autosport should be entering. They put out a press release in November of last season looking for qualified drivers for the Rolex 24 and the rest of the season. Dyson should also be added. I wouldnt be surprised to be another team or two join the entry list. So we could get back over 50 entries for this race.

Going to pay a lot of attention the the Daytona 24 hour race to get fully aquainted with this series - now that Watkins Glen is my "local" road course I'm planning to go see Grand-Am there in June.

Dyson Racing/Godstone Ranch team announces their withdrawal from the Rolex 24 due to lack of funds; will focus on other Grand Am events in 2011

Still a solid field of 17 DP's, but with Mark Wilkins and Burt Frisselle both in other cars I also don't really see AIM showing up.

The Memorial Classic race from Lime Rock just started. Full course caution on lap 1 due to the #69 Mazda being stuck off course.

The Ganassi car is damaged pretty badly after contact with a GT car.

Same - it's my first trip to the Glen and I can't wait. Been watching this and the Continental Tire Series yesterday with interest hoping no one gets damaged with only 3 days to opening practice!

Speed isnt showing it live in the US. Atleast not yet, coverage picks up in 2 and a half hours, but I dont think thats live either.

Rain has finally stopped here at the track. It began sprinkling about 15 minutes before they had prerace ceremonies and started raining pretty hard before they even fired the engines. We even had thunder and lightning early in the race. I have a poncho but still ended up wet and cold. And the weather seems a touch unpredictable. We may get more rain yet.

Grand-Am fucked it all up apparently. The lead car pitted under caution and then Grand-Am waved cars by a lap too late, and put everybody ahead of the lead car, which is now a lap down.

That's spectacularly stupid.
