Seems like they liked what ACO did as an LMP1 '10-example 4 years ago:

I love it. Reminds me of the late 90's GT1 cars. Let's hope it's as fast.

Also found out that the team that Brian Johnson is running with is based out of Chattanooga. Looks like I'm going to be doing some snooping.

Aha! That's new to me. I was sure that that concept was just done as a "possiblity" by ACO for their press conference back then

Now we just need similar DP versions of Ford GT, BMW M6 and Porsche 997 (and even Mazda, why not) and I'm a fan. :D

for Ford, i'm more thinking for a Mustang and BMW, a M3. but they must follow the choice of Chevrolet more personalized cars... ;)

Before that, i only followed Rolex 24 and their support races with Indycar and Nascar, with exception of 6 Hours of the Glen, I think with this new body type, a little more horsepower and very good drivers, Grand-Am will be very interesting to follow this year...
:D

AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson is testing a Riley-BMW at Daytona, along with Jim Pace and Elliott Forbes-Robinson. Wait, how old is EFR? He must be like 70... :?

That team has already confirmed their entry in the Rolex 24... And I thought EFR was old when he raced at the end of the 90's. Wikipedia suggests he was born in 1943, making him 68 years old as of now. :o
