It's really a shame, all the 908s out of the race! Anyway great job by Audi.

After the 2009 race, I can't believe that Peugeot didn't have the reliability issues ironed out. Audi did prove, however, that qualifying doesn't dictate how the race turns out.

10/10 race, this coming from a guy who wanted the number 3 Peugeot to win.

Safe week at Le Mans. No airborne cars. Good.

This was one of the better races in Le Mans in a few years. I was actually looking for a bit of rain, but I think it worked out better without the rain coming. Very pleased with the Audi 1-2-3 but would have been interesting with the Peugeot not blowing up at hour 22.

It was awesome to see the Pesc. Mazda finish second. It was very different to not see them in P1 this year.

"We were like five seconds off what we could have done if we'd pushed hard," Montagny told AUTOSPORT. "But that wasn't the point, the point was to go to the end, take care of the mechanics, and unfortunately it didn't work."

"That's what I asked straight away: 'is there anything I could've done to save the engine?' They said there was nothing. You could've done all the mapping you want, and for this problem it would've been the same."

"We were not really pushing, we were very focused on the targets - not on qualifying," Montagny said.

It was a new engine for 2010.

Surprised they didn't test more before Le Mans then.

I guess its the biggest mystery to Peugeot.

Also heard the same thing, that they were only running at 75% of their pace, just enough to stay ahead of Audi.

Funnily enough, Wurz told our Eurosport guys that lap times around 3.20 will send the car on the edge of falling apart

I don't know....seems like an easy thing to say after the fact. If they could have run that much faster, seems like another half second wouldn't be bad to try and pull out. Maybe he meant if they kept cutting through the grass on every pit stop like Davidson. :p

They might want to correct that.
