Some lucky driver pairing will certainly have it made in the shade tomorrow, unless it rains

Well for those of you who have been looking at the weather for Talladega this weekend know that Saturday isn't looking too good for the Nationwide race. (Watch it be sunny tomorrow) The cure for possible rainy day blues? A Grand-Am race! Yay! And there is a pretty decent chance for rain in southern Virgina tomorrow.

Schedules, entry list, practice and qualifying times, all here:
Race Info

Qualifying is on at 4 pm eastern at Speedtv.com should be a link to that on the Grand-Am front page. The race is on at 2 pm eastern Saturday on Speed. FYI, the race is tape delayed so those of you that like to follow along with live timing can probably forget about that.

for some strange reason i was wishing the nationwide race to be delayed so i could watch this race today...weird ;)

i hope they are using the same camera angle during the race as they did during qualifying..the low shot of the cars coming towards you in the esses is awesome..really shows the cars speed.

Yeah I love that, that why I really love this track.

The rain hasn't even reached where I am in Virginia yet, so there probably won't be any rain during the race.

Not really. 2008 Daytona and Montreal were great finishes.
