Official Lap Record: 1:20.613 (Max Papis, 2004, Ganassi Racing, Daytona Prototype) Not anymore!

Qualifying finished just a bit ago with Ricky Taylor earned his first pole setting a new track record in the Suntrust Ford Dallara at 1:19.624, Antonio Garcia in the Spirit of Daytona Porsche Coyote will start along side on the front row. In GT Jonathan Bomarito also got his first pole in the Speedsource Mazda RX-8 setting a time at 1:26.812, Mazdas grabbed the top three spots in GT.

Starting Lineup

The race will be on Speed Channel at 1:30 pm eastern tomorrow.

dont know if anyone saw the continental tire sportscar series race..but holy piles of dog poo was it a good race..great racing and a few good wrecks..i will cap a hi-lite vid if anyone is interested.. :wave:
