Can't they start warming them up in anticipation? If they're going to go for it, they need to do it now. If not, call it so we don't have to keep watching a soggy bit of tarmac.

Indeed. They have the dryers on track, so they should at least get the Prototypes ready just in case.

If they start the cars up now we're going to get about 45 minutes of racing at most. Really not much point if they leave it any longer.

With 3 cars on the lead lap you could run just 15 min of racing and i'd be happy.
