Heh, and they didn't even need to fakeout with Alonso waving the start flag at Le Mans this time  Still, it's nice to see Sportscars in one of its upswings. We might get a good 3 or 4 years out of this peak before they all leave and it all falls apart again

Today's news also quite considerably changes the LMH vs. LMDh looming performance balance question in favour of LMH from ACO's point of view. Recently there was a story suggesting that Audi and Porsche wouldn't just share the LMDh chassis supplier but also same same engine. That's honestly quite pathetic when at the same time a tiny indenpendent constructor (Glickenhaus) is able to do a LMH. Btw they recently completeled the first car and are now targetting the first round (Portimao in place of canned Sebring). |
