being a spectator at the track tomorrow, I would prefer a nice sunny day.

Looks like the promise to bring back gravel to Eau Rouge and thatsradillionactually was a load of horse shit, unless they're only planning to add it for the F1 race... :whistling:

I wonder if they have realized that, without gravel, a replica of Luis Salom's crash can easily happen there. At the moment, there's nothing preventing both bike and the rider from going on the same trajectory into the wall. :o I really hope I don't have to say "I told you so".

Gravel was never actually planned for Eau Rouge/Radillion, somehow that got into the media but they mistook the plans for the rest of the track for what the plan with Eau Rouge was. Probably didn't help all communication was in French

They did create quite a dangerous spot on the exit/inside of Radillion though, but at least for car the corner as a whole should now be a lot... safer (even though it does like a parking lot). From people I've spoken to who've visited Spa over the past weeks Blanchimont has become a lot more eventful, especially in faster cars. You can't simply run (very) wide and get away with it anymore. Also expect the second part of Fagnes to become covered in gravel, especially in the lower-level endurance events.

I'm curious to see how tomorrow goes, let's hope for a little bit of rain to shake things up

I do wish they had left the old grandstand on the run down the hill to Eau Rouge. It's so open now.

HUGE jump on the exit of blanchimont for the Porche Cup Deutschland race, that was almost like that Mid-Ohio grand-am wreck, or it would've been if it had gone over...

(rewind to just about 30 seconds before the chequered flag)

How awesome!!! Cool to finally see them giving a top tier motorsports a go (early 90's F1 engine doesn't count)

Peugeot officially presented, Monza debut confirmed and James Rossiter is the replacement for K. Magnussen (was already the reserve/test driver).

The one positive is that it's far better than the GT livery.

We got our lately usual ELMS/Le Mans Cup crash at the exit of Ascari. Very poor move by Fassbender this time.

A crash almost the same as yesterday's Xfinity crash at Road America has just happened in ELMS at Monza
