Common sense has prevailed and the NASCAR won't start at the back of the field and won't be shuffled back to the end of the GT field in the restarts, as mentioned initially.

Weird to have Le Mans action on a friday, but we're about to go green for race 2

One SC so far, for a wreck that was basically caused by a surprise slow zone, but you must not criticise the vaulted slow zones in Le Mans circles of course

As I type that a replay of about 4 seperate crashes so who knows if they'll have to throw a SC for one of those stranded cars...

Looks like they need to shorten the race significantly for all the nothing that's on track after this race... :whistling:

Rossi 2nd, car ahead has a time penalty, tense to see if Rossi is gonna win

Also confusion over whether this is the last lap or not, the leader having a time penalty has confused the timing and scoring in that the race is over and timed out when it actually hasn't......confusing

I assume that's it for on-track action today?

Le Mans Cup drivers be like:

"We've got a 13 kilometer track that opens once a year and it's our chance to shine in front of a wider audience. But let's drive like it's Clio Cup at Knockhill, because why not."

Makes sense since they are faster than GTE.

That's a surprisingly sensible decision.

OP schedule is correct so yes for broadcasted action.

Must have been the first time anything on Friday was broadcasted (excluding covid editions).

Sorta looking forward to thunderstorms interrupting all european racing tomorrow (tbf it's quite a quiet weekend, probably due to le mans, so just at Circuit De La Sarthe and TCRUK at Oulton Park then :whistling: )

My hopes are raised, if I dont get at least 5 new incidents for my RAIN CHAOS collection at Darcy F1, I'll be massively disappointed :p

Le Mans is under an orange thunderstorm warning for the period when the race starts, so I think we're more likely to get the first drapeau rouge for 100 years rather than rain chaos...

Not been delayed as far as I know, usually they'll start it under SC and run around. Happened around 5-6 (?) years ago, first hour of the race was under SC
