Wait, they're restarting this? Was there actually no lightning? Did the FIA just say fuck it, we'll pay a fine, or whatever the penalty is?

Probably red flagged it too early not understanding whatever the law says. Then went back to SC to prepare to race but were overruled when conditions ACTUALLY presented themselves for a legit red flag.

Not sure how much racing they would have done if the storm had hit anyway, probably would've been red flag conditions fairly quickly anyway
