Alpine goes to the top of the board, then loses it at Indianapolis. Doesn't hit anything. Checkered on FP3.

Hyperpole in about 3.5 hours.

Le Mans is a much harder track than people give it credit for.

Onboard from Estre. Too hot into Indianapolis and it swapped ends.

What do they do if red flags chew up all the time and cars don't get to turn a hot lap?

I'm watching the Glickenhaus onboard stream and it's showing the session clock stopped. Is that an accurate representation of how this session will run or is the time actually still ticking away?

Clock is stopped.

I'm just curious if they keep wrecking on the hot lap, what happens if they run out of time? 22:17 to go, 4.5 minutes for the outlap, wreck 2 mins later and thats 6.5-7 minutes gone and no times. That happens 3 times and their out of clock, even stopping it under red conditions.

3:23.9 for the #7 Yota... 9 seconds off the track record. Faster than I thought they'd be.

Yep. Gotta play the game.

I do sort of wish they'd just take the gloves off and let them go as fast as they can within the rules package given.
