IMSA returns to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for the MOTUL Petit LeMans. This is the 2nd endurance race at Road Atlanta this year as the track hosted Watkins Glen's traditional 6 Hour race due to the pandemic. IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA & IMSA Prototype Challenge is on the support card for this weekend.

Entry Lists:
IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship - 31 cars entered (8 in DPi, 4 in LMP2, 6 in GTLM, 13 in GTD)

IMSA Prototype Challenge - 14 cars entered

Michelin Pilot Challange race is green, and by the way:
Quote:
We had a brake failure when Ryan [Nash] was in the car and basically the front wheel sensor failed which caused the ABS to fail and the car did not slow down at all going into Turn 6 and he flew into the woods,” Freiberg described.

That wheel did a lot of damage to the Mustang, fairly sure it didn't hit the Aston

Replays have been a bit sparse today.....

Not that RLM are looking at the screens as ever, taking them too long to work out penalties and getting confused.....

Dan Clarke though, that's a name I haven't heard in a while. Legit thought he'd given up racing, it's been over 10 years :8:

Two cars into the right hand side of the bridge

Judging by the safety barriers and camera positions, this isn't a thing that is expected to happen a lot 8O

Yeaa, don't think I'd heard of him do anything since A1GP but seems he did an Xfinity race in 2011 and then nothing.

Yeaa, come to think about it I can't recall many crashes there but plenty where the #73 Honda crashed and seems they missed it?
