Looks better now, could be dry for 10 - 15 mins and then we'll get another big one :8:

Well they're past 75%. Hopefully they'll keep to wait and see.

Michelin needs to introduce a studded tyre for next year's race.

Such a cool photo! Good to see one series no wimping away from trying to race in such conditions

amazing race in amazing conditions. Who would have thought to have these conditions in early May?

WEC sure got some good publicity this past weekend. Still annoyed at the proneness to call for Safety Car as soon the heavens opens for rain. Because that's what appears to been the issue not the snow which just melts, the drivers liked it judging by the interviews. It's endurance isn't it.

Something changed at some point, in that in the old days, the race director would say "Conditions are the same for everyone, get the right tyre on and get racing"

But now they seem to feel they have a duty of care and if someone crashes on the wrong tyre in the rain, they'll get sued

Maybe it's a knock on effect from the Bianci crash, I don't know, but it's freaking annoying, the era of the crazy rainstorm races shaking up the field and giving us a surprise, underdog winner seems to be long over :(
