While it's not the last call for IMSA sanctioned racing this season, it is for the big cars & stars of the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship as they go into their traditional endurance season finale with the 21st edition of the Motul Petit LeMans at the Road Atlanta this weekend on October 11-13. The annual 10 hour will see all 3 classes as usual for a NAEC event, however there has been several teams having to switch drivers as the FIA WEC has decided to clash with their race at Fuji. This event is also the season finale for the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Championship. This year's race will feature the last time in the present future that Continental Tire & FOX Sports taking part in the series as Michelin & NBC takes over in 2019. It also marks the ended for the combined Prototype class in IWSC as DPi & LMP2 will be split next season due to BOP reasons, and the final race for the ST class in the CTSCC. The event also features 3 support divisions, which includes the FOX Factory 120 for the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, IMSA Prototype Challenge and IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA presented by Yokohama. Entry Lists: IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship - 37 cars entered (14 in Prototype, 9 in GTLM, 14 in GTD) IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge - 39 cars entered (25 in GS, 9 in TCR, 5 in ST) IMSA Prototype Challenge - 27 cars entered (17 in LMP3, 10 in MPC) IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge - 28 cars entered (15 in Platinum, 13 in Gold) Spotter Guides: IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge On-Track Schedule (all times local to the circuit / US-Eastern): Spoiler: Broadcast (Television / Radio / Streaming) Information: Spoiler: Other Essentials: IMSA Radio Timing & Scoring Weather Forecast Event History Onboard Lap: Ben Keating - #33 Mercedes AMG GT3 - 2017 Track Map: |

When only your front wheels are in the gravel, why do you drive forward and get beached instead of reversing out |

Did he get hit by the BMW or did he just lose it braking with two wheels on the grass. Driver out and okay thankfully |
