That Ferrari had no where to go.

The driver of the orange LMP3 is a bit of an idiot.

Just watched the Cup race (no, not that one... :whistling: )

One thing I took from watching it on Eurosport is the commentators really hate Freddie Hunt and they both love talking at the same time and not listening to the other

Gonna be a LONG weekend :whistling:

De Vries replaces Cimadomo in the 13.

Interestingly, Cimadomo has been prevented from taking part by the stewards rather than injury

Although Cimadomo argued that he has had a crash-free run in European Le Mans Series this year and described his incidents in FP1 and FP3 as “momentary lapses”, the stewards concluded that "a pattern exists that cannot be ignored at this time.”

Le Mans thoughts time again, and I've got a surprising amount of stuff to say about it this year! Feel free to agree or disagree. But I hope we can all agree that racing cars are probably the coolest things that exist on earth.

Hypercar: I'm not particularly excited about this one this year. Long gone are the days of epic battles in the top class between Audi/Pescarolo, Audi/Peugeot, Audi/Toyota/Porsche. This year there's Toyota, Alpine and Glickenhaus. Toyota is the favoured marque because of BoP lolrz shenanigans. The Glickenhaus cars aren't far off, but their owner insulted the entire world of simracing last year and I therefore wish him and his cars eternal (low speed) punctures and (minor) mechanical issues.

LMP2: A very packed spec racing class, basically. This is where the most interesting battle for victory will be, as is tradition! I think it'd be pretty cool if Robert Kubica and the rest of his teammates in the #9 car were to triumph this year. You all know the story of ol' Bob Kubica, the once a very high-flying Formula One ace. What a cool story that would be.

GTE Pro: Let's go Porsche! I hope the #92 makes it to the finish in one piece, provided the Vanthoor brothers have buried the hatchet since their Nürburgring debacle (Laurens in the #92 here, will probably cross paths with Dries in the #32 car in the LMP2 class). My money's on the tried and true trio of drivers in the #91 Porsche to best the Corvettes in what's certain to be a lengthy and exciting battle. Also worth noting is the very awesome and very cool Aussie V8 Supercar racer and simracer in a Ferrari: Shane van Gisbergen in the #74 Riley Motorsports squad. Fun fact, I've raced against him in iRacing once! He destroyed me, of course, but we shared the same virtual track and that's pretty incredible.

GTE Am: Don't care.

Been beat by Shane on more than one occasion. But he was nice enough to give me his setup once. Chatted a little bit. He's crazy fast.

Agree with all of that above, except for the Porsche in GTE Pro. Let's go Corvette Racing!

Yeah, fuck Glickenhaus.

In F1 I support anyone who can beat Mercedes, in WEC I want to see Toyota lose. It´s been long enough, we don´t need yet another win without competition of the same manufacturer. So go Glickenhaus! Go Alpine!
