Looks to me like they try to keep ACO befriended by saying they want to enter LMP1, so they get a entry for the driving dildo. When the time comes you won't hear a thing about a P1 car.

Also in that article, Oak is teaming up with Ligier. And the Coupe LMP2 will be branded a Ligier.

I don't think that's a real car but a wind tunnel scale model.

Still, besides Rebellion the only other private P1 that is already something substantial and not just a render (Perrinn & co).

Isn't Rebellion also just a render so far? Not that I don't believe in them, just saying ;) .

Tudor 2014 entry list has been published.

http://www.imsa.com/files/2014/Newslett ... ryList.pdf

Surprising to see Starworks, Pickett, Level 5 etc on the reserves list but I very much doubt all these cars will show up.

I'm also not too clear if this is just the entry for Daytona or what - there are way more cars there than most circuits could take, yet they are listed as "full season" and "NAEC" - No way could Watkins Glen hold almost 70 entries.

28 full time GT Daytona cars is pretty amazing in itself. Impressive list.

That would have been a linkup with Greaves if they had decided to come over but they decided against it because of the BOP debacle.

Pretty cool otherwise. Nice to see Oak on the list.

I agree... for sure someone has to have thought BoPing them to the P class, but that wasn't done, so maybe it was too hard or "if it [since the class itself is healthy] works, don't fix it".

In ALMS, GTC was even bigger grid filler but now that it has been merged in GTD, it is ok...

On most of the tracks they're going to be racing apart aren't they?

IE they'll all race together at the "big tracks" (Daytona, Sebring, Indy, Petit etc) but then will seperate into Prototypes and GT in seperate events (Long Beach, Watkins Glen etc)
