No price given and it doesn't look like the most trustworthy person either. But that's beside the point, because it's not going to happen regardless of who or how much.

How much?

Toyota's official shop has it at 170 EUR.

MAZDA

The remains of the GX program put into an old Lola chassis. Competitive? I... doubt it. Cool to see "new" "actual" LMP's though.

Cool to see Multimatic are getting the "new" Lola chassis out so quickly, but yeah it's still based on a pretty old design. Still, this is the sort of innovation that with any luck the TUSC will foster over the next few years.

Looks like at least 6 or 7 P2s in 2014 which I have to admit is 5 more than I was expecting already.

Tucker and Level 5 could switch to WEC to run LMP1 O.o

If there is one team I don't want to see... anywhere, it is L5 though.

deggis, on one hand I share your views on Level 5, on the other I feel like any addition to WEC would be good for the category at this stage

I hope next year it will be a cracking one so that this series can sustain a healthy "life" in motorsport world

Not like he'd be able to manipulate the LMP1 championship in WEC anyway >.<

Is this Solaroli guy the same man behind a RS Spyder LMP2 team around 2008-2009 which never came to be? With Johnny Herbert and JJ Lehto as the proposed drivers, no less.

DP-P2 BoP. Sounds like some busy weeks for Elkins. Problem is that DPs are now faster, especially in top speed. Then also too small speed difference between GTD and GTLM.

Westbrook flipped the #90 Spirit of Daytona DP in testing a few minutes ago.

Tire failure on the NASCAR portion of the track.

Update: Grand Am Unleashed is reporting the RR tire blew out, the car got airborne and impacted the fence.

Andy Lally posted on twitter that the car went into the catch fence. Thankfully Westbrook wasn't hurt. The car can be replaced, the driver can't.

Good to hear he's ok. Bitter blow for that team though - all that money for the TUSC DP upgrades and they get one morning of running before it's all destroyed. :/

João Barbosa OK after accident at end of test. Car also took flight after failure, not as bad as Westbrook, though.

Not a freak accident, then.

What tyres are they running then? Still 2013 spec? Maybe they can't cope with the extra power and downforce.
