Oliver Gavin reservedriver for the 97 Aston because of a rib injury from Mücke. He will probably step in. Love this exchange of drivers between marques :p

Schedule's out. Road America made it, Lime Rock didn't. The split weekends aren't split "Prototype only/GT only" so there's a weekend where LMPC is the top class.

Detroit scheduled for the LM test day. Half the LMPs will be in France. Detroit is also no LMGT, so a Detroit race with no Corvettes and Vipers. Good job NASCAR.

And if Detroit had GTLM then you'd complain pretty all of the grid is in France? :p Actually almost feels like that is at the request of the teams.

Not sure if I like this "some races with all classes, some races not". It's confusing.

Well no, I'm complaining because it's a double fail. Firstly it's removing Corvette and Viper from their home race. Secondly it's held on a date that the LMPs may not do.

So here's a solution - move it to a proper date that doesn't clash with LM dates, and have GTLM at the circuit that's most important to 2 of its manufacturers.

It's all so short sighted. It's like they don't care that half the alms teams are in France for the summer.
