Fässler has done 13 laps in the Audi. Keep an eye out for Porsche's Dumas who is on his 13th right now.

Looks like Hülkenberg did 13 laps in his Porsche before pitting.

RLM discussing how Porsche might be able to squeeze out an extra lap.

Based on average laptimes, they also think that Porsche and Audi are fairly evenly matched. Porsches with an advantage on the straights and Audis with the upper hand around the corners. This also makes the latter generally better around traffic. Should make for an interesting race, provided we don't get too much drapeau rouge/jaune-related madness.

3 irons in the fire for both of them will make it very exciting, as there's always 2 that hit problems.

I wonder what Toyota's strategy is going to be. Should definitely be able to get a podium based on reliability.

Also from what I'd gathered myself earlier from some people there, Corvette does have a spare tub at the track, so it's a bit surprising to me that they'd already have ruled out running the #63.

I suppose the pedals are the part that's concerning them. Although that doesn't explain why the #64 hasn't also been withdrawn.

I'm not sure if there's been an official statement, but speculation seems to indicate a stuck throttle for Jan Magnussen in the Porsche Curves.

Bugger, there's one Aussie down the drain. Must be so soul destroying for the team, all this prep work and bam, game over.

At the end RLM guys were discussing about the distance record and Truswell said that to break the record a car has to do at least 383 laps. But I think that´s not right because in 2010 they have done 397 laps and the tracklength hasn´t change since then.
Anyway, looking at the forcast for race days now a new distance record is absolutly possible, if we don´t get to many "Code quatre-vingt" situations.

latest weather prediction says it will rain a lot on sunday.

I think we will see many hours of armco barier repairing and behind the safety car

Barrier repairs should only require slow zones, which is why they were introduced. At least that's what they officially declare.

Safety cars should only come out for something like the Lapierre-Bonanomi-Bird incident in the rain last year.

Everytime I check the meteo, it is totally different, now it says it will be almost dry on sunday.

The current weather is just very unpredictable, so we will have to wait until the race to find out.

The Nissans and Colles CLM have apparently been dropped to behind the LMP2-field because they were not within 110% of the pole time (I think)

Never knew there was a 110% rule in place, is that a recent thing?
