He can do what he wants for being in a tast Ford GT....

And yeah, he was trying to race...nothing wrong with that even though Sportscar racing goes into "oooh shit there's 12 hours to go you should wait around for about 4 hours before trying to improve your position and even then you should only do it in the pitstops" mode right after the Green flag...
