I remember when ALMS first started streaming live racing, quality was great and there were no problems streaming. Given how the series is doing now I can't imagine there's more people trying to use it, so they must have cut the funding to the website, which is madness when the series is already struggling

I think you remember wrong, Sebring in 2010 was horrible and it was in much lower quality than the current one (which is very good, when it works with the full bitrate).

Vipers might have brought few new fans, but I really doubt this much...

The provider of the streaming service is http://www.limelightvideoplatform.com , but in the end the culprit must be that ALMS just doesn't buy enough bandwidth.

Maybe I was lucky, I certainly don't manage to watch every ALMS race but all the ones I did were fine, it's only this year I've had problems. I don't worry too much about broadcast quality - it was always better than Motors, so better than the only alternative
