So it seems ELMS is struggling, and will merge with WEC for a couple of rounds this year. The car count is awful.

Thanks for the video. :)

While watching the video I noticed how different driving this car will be considering the front wheels are so narrow. Normally a driver attacks the curbs and feels the position of the car with the front wheels (e.g. too hard over curbs, etc.). Now, he can just guess where the back of the car really is and doesn't have anything in front of him to proper place the car at the race track.

Does this make any sense what I am writing? Do you get what I mean? :p

I would imagine the front wheels would have to miss the apex a bit so the rear wheels can kiss/go around the kiss apex perfectly.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I am sure it must be quite strange to drive a race car with the front being way off the apex.

Just got to Sebring for a track day tomorrow and Sunday. Rumors are the Delta Wing grenaded the transmission earlier this afternoon, they were watering the track down and testing in the wet.

haha.

So apparently the E-Tron Quattro (anyone mind if we just refer to the two Audis as the Ultra (2WD) and the Quattro (4WD)? This E-Tron thing sounds ridiculous) was turning laps 2 seconds faster than the old R18 pole time from this year. Some of that will be more rubber on the track, but that's mind blowingly fast. And it did it in low downforce trim, at Sebring.
