Okay, now the question I've been asking.... Is there any other manufacturer of Diesel Technology in road cars that could come in and challenge Audi and Peugeot?

That is if they spent the money obviously.

Go to "7.19.10". Some interesting details from a manufacturer meeting held last year. I especially like the part that says "Type of engine: All types of engine apart from turbines, reactors and engines using Stirling cycle" :lol:

BMW! They won the 24h of the Nürburgring in 1998 with a 320d. Way before Audi entered Le Mans with Diesels.

Lotterer seems to be faster than Pagenaud again now that the track's drying. Might have been a good call by Audi not to pit.
