new TV deal sux

This times about 10,000. I'll be at a different race on Saturay and instead of being able to set my DVR and tape the whole Petite, I get to... Nothing since it's not on TV. The big bore sports cars around Road Atlanta are always great to watch... Shame.

Thank you ALMS... Idiots.

Do you have access to espn3.com? If so, I believe they archive stuff so you can watch it later.

They also have all the races available on americanlemans.com too. I have watched all of them a few days after the race

Apparently there was a big wreck this morning between the Oak P1 of Olivier Pla and the JDX Porsche GTC driven by Will Langhorne. Here is the quote from the ALMS site:

Quote:
The session was halted for approximately 30 minutes following a heavy crash between Olivier Pla’s Oak Racing Oak Pescarolo prototype and JDX Racing’s Will Langhorne. Track and IMSA officials had to repair barriers and fencing as a result of the incident.

The situation might have been that either they do this or have no coverage at all anywhere.

As a non-American who downloads each race, it is pretty much optimal. There's full, quality coverage of every race.

If there's one thing I appreciate about the new TV deal, it's the fact that AT LEAST I can watch ALMS.

This is coming from a guy that does not have SPEED.

Same, but we're not really ALMS's core audience.

In Canada all of the ALMS races had been broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet One in HD, so I guess I was lucky :p but I'm still surprised their not broadcasting anything live from Petit on any channel...

David Ducote was hit by David Murray today and was airlifted to a local hospital. Hope he is okay.

Lots of wrecks already going on the past couple days. Seems like the race might be a hairy one.
