I would have liked a closed cockpit Audi.

That was never going to happen though, Audi said from the announcement of the R15 that it would be an open cockpit car.

As for the car, it's hard to tell from this angle, of course, but it looks like it has quite a large front end - a lot of surface area that is. Seems like they've taken a page from the Acura book, with the wing mounts coming in front of the wing itself. Interesting too, that there's a whole lot of very sharp changes on the bodywork... Goes from very high up to very low down, especially behind the tyres... Gotta wait for better shots, but it doesn't look like a bad car so far!

The article says that Pescarolo would get one 908 and the other entry would be the Pescarolo LMP1 car.

easy Stijn... don't forget to breath

ECOSpeed already has it's drivers for one Dome S102 in LMS, Le Mans will prolly be with experienced LM drivers. ECOSpeed has an option on a 2nd Dome too, btw... And gotta admit, some nice (utopical) names which could possibly fill a seat on the Dome :)

The writter of the scoop said that is sure at 100% that Pescarolo will have a Peugeot for 24H.

Juste pour vous dire qu'il n'y a plus la moindre incertitude quant à cette info que nous vous avons révélée hier. C'est du 100% sûr.

Another rumor from the forum said that Phillipe Alliot will drive this 908 and try to break the official record of Stephane Sarrazin and the car will have the colour of french broadcaster of F1 and Eurosport :eyecrazy:

Holy ****

WTF :eyecrazy:

I think the thing about Alliot was only a joke posted on that forum, if I understand the post in question correctly

I don't get it, not even on the reserve list 8O

Also, not a single Saleen in GT1, although about 3-4 had applied.
Too bad there are only three Porsches versus a trillion Ferrari's in GT2.

Apart from that, LMP1/LMP2 looks seriously amazing.

Great entry list.

Entry list is kind of deceptive because it shows four Lola Aston Martins in a row, but the Sebah car is obviously the Charouz chassis from last year and not involved in the 3-car works effort.

"#008 AMR Eastern Europe", ha. Like shipping companies sailing under flags from some banana republics.

Yeah, that's a shame. No chance for a late entry either?

Wouldn't count on it. The only "possibility" (not even a real possiblity I think) could be the fact that the ECO Speed manager Frank v Nunen has links with the KSM team which is entering a Lola Mazda, but that's all.

Such a shame there's not even one Dome starting :( They had very utopical names (some brilliant ex-F1 drivers), but nothing now... Line-up for LMS is almost pretty much confirmed, all three have one thing in common: their manager is Frank van Nunen ;)

And about Henri Pescarolo, I think Quesnel needs to watch out for an eye-catcher on the Pescarolo Peugeot 908 HDi FAP... to be continued, negotations about a seat are taken care off.... :D
