This is the week it should be.

If there are 4 weekends in June then it's on the second weekend.
If there are 5 weekends in June then it's on the third weekend.

There was discussion about it moving to the fourth week for 2012 to avoid French Departmantal Elections, but it seems they'll conflict with that anyway.

Bah. Why not just let the Challenge cars run their own race as support?

Breaking News: Davidson is confirmed in N°7 Peugeot, and Pagenaud too, if Davidson's Injury is too painful during the race.

And Audi make some test at Paul Ricard with new "normal" aero, according to Mattiheu Lahaye's Twitter.

And there's no Oreca at Silverstone and Zhuhai. We will just see them at PLM.

Apparently Hugues de Chaunac really wants to attend Petit so he can wine and dine guests for his Indycar project... Good addition to the field nonetheless.

Rumours that Jetalliance-Lotus won't make it to Petit, either. Would be a shame but not terribly surprising, finances apparently being tight...

Anyway ALMS resumes this weekend at Baltimore with a 2 hour race on Saturday afternoon. I shall of course be in attendance marshaling, no idea what corner yet, however. Will let you all know!

Big hit!

This track looks fun.

LMPC are as fast as LMP1, but GTs aren't that far back either: just 3 seconds between the fastest Dyson car and the fastest Porsche.

This track reminds me a LOT of the old Columbus circuit.

Thats the first I've seen the driver go get his own loose wheel and put it in the car with him.

Pat Long ran into the back of a Corvette in the hairpin.

Now Pat Long just ran into the back of the Risi Ferrari and damaged it.

I don't remember seeing that chicane on the virtual lap. Is that going to be there for the Indycars as well?
