Nope, it is a pro. Amazingly enough.

The emotions they had to endure twice? Realising that racing is not the most important thing in the world perhaps?

GT PRO, but that's determined by the car, not by the drivers.
A team with 3 rookies in a F458 would be GT PRO, a team with Kristensen Bourdais and Ickx in a F430 would be GT AM.

I'm sure Eurosport said pre race in their coverage, you can only have 1 Pro in an AM car.

It's a pro car because a 458 can't run in Am.

Kauffman is a proper gentleman driver though, just like there have been LOADS of them over the past decades.

Damn, another half hour of yellow. Needed to happen during the IndyCar race so it would be easier to watch both!!

Well, honestly then they should have stopped racing after Alboretto's death.

It's only been half an hour since the accident, but it still feels like it's been a day since it.

I'm sure the drivers of the surviving Audi won't feel like quiting. Maybe they won't take so many risks when lapping traffic though.

It's by both. You cannot have too many Pro drivers in the Am class. It's done by license for them.

True. But they are advertising there Carbon Light Weight technology. And although this isn't the way you want to showcase it, they prove they can build light and extreme safe cars.

I just hope they won't take that kinda decision in the heat of the moment, because that would make this race up front very boring.

It's been a long time since the accident now, unless any really bad news come through I'd say they'll keep on going with the #2.

I don't see Audi quitting, they'll keep going.

I hope they do keep going, else it will be no where near as exciting in the coming hours. I'll prob get some sleep instead!

Tell Andre Lotterer he has to quit.

I don't think you'll like his response.

This isn't 1955, where 100 people are dead. This isn't 1999, where the car has a design flaw that could kill you. Both of those accidents today were racing accidents. All that Lotterer and his team-mates have to do is to remain circumspect.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Good thing we still have Indycars sprint races in between.

I don't see why Audi would quit. Both crashes were not caused by mechanical failures, just racing accidents that can happen everywhere.
