Toyota has two entries obviously, but test day was a question mark but apparently two will be there (sunday btw!):

http://auto-racing.speedtv.com/article/ ... est-debut/

but earlier Pascal Vasselon (?) said somewhere that any further tub-damaging crash will endanger the second entry for the race.

Interesting change there. So are both cars running blue?

Marc Gene replaces Timo Bernhard at Audi.

#7 is still hiding, so don't know (pic from here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 911&type=3)

Total (their new sponsor as I posted in the other thread) has a bit of blue in the logo...

But still one Group 44 Jag. :) That's what I have looked forward to the most. Oh, and Derek Bell!

Total bringing blue is an odd one though, as Total traditionally have red around the logo (See the Lotus F1 cars). But still, I like it.

Genes placement at Audi is the least deserved drive in Le Mans history. Drive into Audis on purpose in 2011, get a race seat for 2012.

Total's logo was blue on the Red Bull RB6 & RB7. Well, they just kept it to the colour of the livery. Seems odd that they insist on having the red endplates on the Lotus

Yes, Bernhard is injured. Gene replaces him for the event

RB7 was red on the RW endplate and RB8 is red around the rest of the Total logos.

Red is the corporate colour of Total, even the Total logo on the Toyota trucks is red. Blue seems to be related to the Hybrid logo if anything.

Being a bit of an insider at Total, I can confirm that their marketing terms & conditions OBLIGE to have a white "Total" on a red background, which is why it looks/looked so goddamn out of place on the Lotus and RB8. They changed it a couple of years ago (which is why the RB6 just had the word Total incorporated in the livery and the RB7 partly). Even we at home had to replace some panels and flags with the "correct" look, our website requires the same.

If they have already put the logo on the Toyota, I think it's on the endplate (there's a red rectangle visible)

The Loeb Racing livery shows this requirement in a pretty obvious way:

I thought he was the one who got 'sacked' for 'refuseing to block' Audi last year?

Marc Gene was the one who drove over the nose of the Audi at the second chicane, then pushed him off the road on the run to Mulsanne Corner. I believe it was Lamy who was taken out of the race by Peugeot for that.

Supposedly both the Dome and Pescrolo 03 have been seized by French courts after legal action from Julien Jousse.

Ah right.

Strange they'd hire him then.
