As dull as a race at Laguna Seca might be, I'd take that as a season finale over Sonoma anytime. I just said what the whole motorsport world is thinking right now.

at least in Laguna Seca they can't turn the corkscrew into a chicane

More like the sponsors, as Robin Miller said in his one of his mailbags. Closer to San Francisco for example..than Laguna or Fontana...

both F1 and IndyCar can pride themselves for having Max Chilton filling the last place with laps behind the leader
