Ha. Based on what PT said, I tend to agree with him. He's right wheels clearly touched the line.

My question is, if that's not against the rules why did he get a warning?

Indycar officials as inconsistent as always. If the rule says you cant put all 4 wheels over the line and you put all 4 wheels over the line you should get a penalty. A warning is useless given how i dont believe he even needs to stop again.

indycar should bring in a rallycross-style joker system and let everyone cut a few corners every race because that's effectively what these warnings are

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Simon win this, but how can these rules written like this? You either cut the corner / crossed the line or you didn't.

Minimum penalty was a warning, he barely cut it compared to what Chilton was doing.
