Its actually Eddie Gossage, he doesn't want races within a certain radius of "his" track

Not bad. Personally I would like to see them add Michigan AND Fontana. 4 500 milers seems right to me especially if they could work some magic with a 3 out of 4 million dollar bonus like the old Winston Million. Would like Milwaukee back but what are you going to do.

Other than that, good mix of tracks.

Pruett is also reporting Marco might be heading to Herta's side next year. If that's true Rossi's situation should get interesting.

The implication might be that Rossi is heading the other way, into the Andretti side of the team.

Interesting article on Newgarden's future here - http://www.racer.com/indycar/item/13390 ... o-andretti

The title is about Andretti's interest but both Ganassi and Penske are also interested with Penske as the current favourites - Newgarden would replace Monty.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I honestly think Marco would benefit from moving away from Andertti Autosport because his career has just kinda stalled & he's not showing the same sort of speed or performance that he was in the past.

I think Marco's got a good level of talent; He's capable of running up front, winning races & in the right circumstances maybe even fighting for a championship but I don't think he'll be able to do that where he is now as I don't think been in his fathers team is the right place for him to grow mainly because for the past decade he's not really been under any pressure to perform as there was never really any risk of him losing his seat.

Moving to Herta's side of the team may be a good thing but I really do think he'd be better suited to move away from AA completely. Go somewhere where it's perform or get dropped & then hopefully we'd start to see the Marco from his 1st few years in the series where he was fast & exciting to watch rather than the Marco of the past 2-3 years that is running towards the back of the pack doing absolutely nothing of any interest wasting not only the seat he's in but also the talent I really do believe he has.

Well Rahal improved a lot once his father stepped off the wall.

I feel like Andretti should approach Honda about going to IMSA and just one offing Indy every year.

Can we stop pretending like this is a problem exclusive to Marco? The entire Andretti squad has been shitty this year.

The whole team? They obviously just need to get their tech team together, whenever they do, RHR and Marco are top 5 threats. Michael doesn't seem to gel the team together though, it's like mechanics and engineer are on constant rotation there.

Ganassi trying his best to secure as much of his team's funding as possible.
