Dixon got awarded the same number of points for winning a 190 mile race at Sonoma as Montoya did for winning the Indy 500. great logic

tbh, Dixon's an amazingly consistent driver, and Ganassi is a great team. Not a fan of Chip, but the way they manage to deliver when it matters it's just mindblowing. And as PT said, the Penske guys were fighting against themselves for the championship and that was their downfall.

Many butthurts i see, Montoya was not impressive at all in the second part of the championship, so as i predicted Dixon has done it! And by Sonoma standarts, pretty good race that was

Last year there were double points for every 500-mile race - one of which was season finale. This year JPM beat Dixon in all 500-milers.

For me the three stars of the season (in no order) were Montoya, Rahal and Newgarden. Each came away with nothing to show for it. So disappointed.
