Indycar's newest throwback is a valuable lesson in bad marshalling. Or "Let's leave a car stranded in the middle of a high-speed, somewhat-cramped straightaway; nothing will happen". |

To be fair to them, Formula 1 and most other motorsport series were leaving retired cars all over the track at that point too There must've been a directive in the mid 1990s that it couldn't happen any more...until then tracks were littered with crashed and retired cars the world over. |
