Iirc this one happened the same day of the Nurburbring Gp, both races with dry and rain conditions.

is once again the October 31st, is been 23 years today but now rather than remembering his accomplishments and say how much we miss him, lets look for the future

Image

a young driver looked at this helmet, wondering what might have been if it wasn't for that tragic day 23 years ago. Raw talent, speed and racecraft, in a race winning outfit. Indianapolis would be small for Greg. But a young driver, son of one Penske most renowned employees saw and wanted to wear something like that, perhaps not knowing what the young canadian with the blue chromed helmet and red gloves did before that young driver was born.

more than 22 years of his passing, his legacy lives on
Image

Austin Cindric brought Greg's helmet to the victory lane in the most important Nascar race, is still developing himself but I wish all the best and keep hungry like Greg always was.

Today is not only a day to wish a rest in peace for Greg, but to thank his dad Ric and Tim Cindric for allowing his desire to win going on through sheer talent

Thank you once again Greg Moore, your legacy will live among us race fans until the end

Just little over year and there's as much time gone from his death as his lifespan was.
