Sure, you can go to Indianapolis for the 500-mile sweepstakes on Memorial Day weekend.

Or, you can watch it's bastardized son running the road course.

Indycar said everything but Indycar Qualy+Race will be streamed via their new working-so-much-better-Youtube-hosted-stream.

Wooo Mazda Road to Indy action....

Anyone on here going to this? just won some tickets for Saturday but not sure if I will be able to make the trip up to Indy or not yet. (couldn't go, shipped the tickets to a friend who could)

Also awesome news about everything being streamed this weekend. Although I thought Indy Lights was going to be on NBCSN delayed? (was originally listed for a live telecast for the first race on Friday actually but was changed the day after I saw it)

It wouldn't cause any crashes. Just some awesome drafting action to T1.

They don't have the horrible double hairpin that F1 used to run? At least that's something.

Yeah, the track is actually a whole lot better than the previous F1 layout. It's much faster and more flowing now, with more opportunities for passing.

Indycar is usually good on road courses, so I think this will be a good race.

Me too, especially at the double headers. One standing one rolling.

Added to the diversity

Problem is that these guys prove time and time again that they can't even do rolling starts right, what makes you think they're gonna do an incident-free standing start?
