good track. would be nice if RHR could do a hat-trick, but he's been awful so far this year so I don't think it is possible

Call me oversensitive, but I hardly find Dale Coyne's financial situation a laughing matter. And besides, Gonzales was only 0.1 off the next car ahead and 0.3 off Tony Kanaan.

As fun as it is to laugh at these guys now. ...I really hope they aren't going to run the ovals.

It kinda stopped being funny to me when dracone pulled a clothesline on his tyre changer, but that guy on an oval spinning in front of the leaders?
brrr doesn't bear thinking about :yuk:

Will Newgarden ever get the attention from F1 teams, or is the American route to F1 forever closed? Not that I want Newgarden to leave Indycar... but the kid's the real deal.

Maybe (and hopefully) it will change with Haas F1 next year.

Agree. But. Top Indycar teams aren't paying attention, so what hope does he have with F1?

Nah. The kid is the prototypical sponsors dream, and he still has very little sponsorship once you take Hartman's money out of it. No idea why Penske hasn't even so much as shown interest. The big shame is that you can drive IndyCars as they are well into your 40's so he'll be waiting awhile for a Penske seat to open up. I will say that while CFHR isn't Penske or Ganassi, they have a very good all around package there with Walker and even Conway building the road course profile for Carpenters team. And Ed has a very good oval program, so his talent can show in CFHR, the big issue is that luck sides with the better prepared, and small teams just don't have the ability to prep like Penske or Ganassi, so even when Josef, or Ed, or even Luca put themselves in a position to win, a couple of tenths on a pitstop is going to be what costs them.

Warm Up. Power adds himself to the "spin and p1 in warm up" list that this forum does NOT have by. .....well.....Doing those things.

Currently red for that fella we hardly ever mention doing a spin having done a spin.
