Damn! I missed it as I fell asleep after the Jakes caution. I will have to wait until YouTube this week. It was a good race until the caution.

This was a very good race. Perfect mix of strategy and wheel-to-wheel action.

Outstanding GP, one of the best racing I've seen in years. I love everything about this track and I'm glad that such fast cars, as these Indycars, can put in such an amazing race at it.

I guess tire wear made the good racing possible. Because the track doesn't seem like it would be conducive for good racing at all: straights are too short, layout looks like an aero push palace, and it's pretty narrow. Yet they made it happen yesterday.

Yeah, though you could say that with the elongated radius corners designed for bikes, the track wore out the tyres causing the racing to be good.

It's one of those tracks that look great to drive but you wouldn't think there'd be much overtaking on, then a race like this year's one happens.

Also another reason why the series MUST return to Laguna Seca IMMEDIATELY

Stunned :8:

With the red tyre/black tyre rule these days I imagine the corners there would kill the tyres and racing would be tast.

That track would be so much better if they ran it backward.

The left hander leading onto the uphill run to the Corkscrew is a pretty sweet corner.

Getting that corner right in iRacing is so damn rewarding.

Ya, no kidding. But generally speaking, it's way too awkward of a corner for me to get excited about as a viewer (though I do appreciate it's challenge).

I changed my opinions on Laguna as an IndyCar track after racing it several times on iRacing with the DW12. Its a really fun track to drive and immensely satisfying to get right. But its really really hard to pass on.
