The 2015 IndyCar season opens up in the nice city of Brasilia, Brazil. Another long offseason, yeah, but 2015 promises to be better than ever. With the newly released manufacturer-specific aerokits that teams can manipulate and modify to their leisure, a star-studded field, and racing that promises to be better than NASCAR, Brazilians will get their first taste of the new season. Locals like Helio Castroneves and Tony Kannan would love to do well in front of their home crowd, but there are numerous others like defending IndyCar champion Will Power would like to claim the glory of getting the first victory. Who will win the first race in Brazil? Find out on NBC Sports Network or check local listings. Fuck you, Brasilia and your fucking corrupt-ass government, you fucking cheapstakes.

Honestly though, although I'm glad Indycar is back. I don't have high hopes for this race, St. Petersburg usually sucks.

This, unfortunately

I remember this forum declaring the DW12 a write-off after it's first race at St. Pete

No, this is a legitimate concern. I can't trust NASCAR to stay consistent, even with my already low standards.

St Pete would be really fun if there was actually somewhere to pass.
