The season finale is near for all 3 tiers of the Mazda Road to Indy at the home of the corkscrew, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. In the Indy Lights points battle, the top 4 (Jack Harvey, Spencer Pigot, Ed Jones & RC Enerson) all have a chance at winning the championship. Santiago Urrutia leads the Pro Mazda Championship by 29 points over Neil Alberico and Nico Jamin leads the USF2000 Championship by 50 points over Jake Eidson. All 3 series will have 2 races this weekend and all will be live streamed on racecontrol.indycar.com & roadtoindy.tv. Also taking to the track this weekend is the Pirelli World Challenge for their season finale.

Overrated track as far as generating interesting races goes. It is a good challenge for the drivers though, and the corkscrew still delivered a few action-packed moments (3-wide in the USF2000 race and a rollover in Pro Mazda qualifying).

What the fuck is with the static camera's, don't they have the same camera's that PWC had?

race isn't fully televised here in the USA so the camera workers normally take a break if that is the case, same for most MRTI races or other support races for IndyCar (with exception for Indy Lights or a major series)
