People might not like Power for whatever silly reasons, but its going to be one of the most deserved championships if he manages to win it this year.

The chicane they run on this track is fucking awful. Wish they would just run straight down to their shorter version of the hairpin instead.

Stewards gave Montoya a pathetic penalty. He put part of his right front tyre on the pit entry line and had his fastest time in Q1 disallowed for 'gaining an advantage'. Had the time stood (and it was only seen because TV broadcasters were showing Montoya's lap from an onboard camera... they weren't monitoring that part of the circuit...) he would have easily been through to Fast 12.

I heard the epicenter was within 15 miles of Sonoma too. Sounds like there may be some infrastructure damage on nearby roads leading to the track.

There's no actual damage to the track. Still worrysome, especially being located close to the San Andreas Fault. Been there, done that, still something you don't want to experience (unless you live in Japan).

Aftershocks could happen.

There was an earthquake during F1 practice at Suzuka years ago.
